Monday evenings are generally quite quiet on the greyhound scene but, this evening, good quality racing can be found at both Romford and Nottingham. It is at Romford that we have focused our attentions and we have produced a number of free greyhound racing betting tips from the 12 race card. Trap 6 takes our fancy in a number of the races but none more so than in the 7:26pm race where we are backing a dog to confirm superiority over one of his main rivals at a price of 5/2 with Coral.

Beaming Javier defeated Guy Gibson on the 19th of July when showing good early pace and leading his rival the whole 400m, and he is taken to confirm that form, despite Gibson’s favouritism in the market, in the 7:26pm heat of the Puppy competition.

The selection has been showing the desired early pace in his visits to Romford from his Yarmouth base as well as seeing out the distance strongly. In this race with five unseeded runners he should get a great run from his trap 6 box.

Not only should Beaming Javier get a good run from his trap, his main rival, Guy Gibson, in trap one is unlikely to have the same fortune with trap 2, Blootered, having marginally better early pace whilst having a tendency to move towards the rails. Early trouble on the inside looks a formality.

Javier was knocked over at the first bend in his Romford race three days ago but we can discount that as being an issue as there is no way his trainer would run him so quickly after if it had had an ill-effect.

Coral have opened up with Beaming Javier available to back at 5/2 which looks a good bet with Guy Gibson at 7/4. A repeat of his 24:41s time recently will be good enough for victory.

In the 6:38pm race, T6 Earls Baby has such a significant early pace advantage over her rivals in this A8 graded race that it makes up for her inability to see out the trip fully. Any inside trouble will help and she can go a number of lengths clear early. The forecasted price of 7/2 looks definitely in the backable range.

Swift Ellie looks the one to beat in the 7:42pm race to continue our trap 6 theme. All the early in the race comes from Ellie and Dods Sweep, drawn one trap inside her, but Ellie has the pace to cut across Dods Sweep and lead the whole way. If the bookmakers open at the forecasted price of 11/4 then we have a great bet on our hands.

In a change from backing trap 6 we move to the inside traps for our final two free greyhound racing betting tips with Bridge Lucy, from trap 2, looking like the best bet in the 8:13pm race. She should be able to have the best of the running on the inside with trap one often slower away and she can hold off trap 3, whilst her ability to dip under 25 seconds in this grade will surely be good enough for victory. 9/4 looks like a fair price.

Our final free greyhound racing betting tip comes in the 8:43pm race and we look to back our biggest priced selection of the day in Missys Moo Moo, in trap 2, at a forecasted price of 4/1. The favourite will be in trap 6 but she won’t quite have enough early pace to get across the whole field whilst at the same time she will hamper the strong dog in trap 5. That should set up our selection to nip clear at the first bend and hold on for the win.

The prices for the four selections above are all forecasted prices from the Racing Post website which tend to be relatively accurate but we recommend that you use bet365 for your bets, especially if they have priced the races up later in the day as they offer ‘Best Odds Guaranteed’ which protects your price should it drift at starting price. New customers can also benefit from up to £200 in free bets with bet365.
