Romford have once again delivered an excellent race card and on Friday the 30th May they have produced some interesting clashes over both their most familiar distances: 400m and 575m. The bookmakers have kindly priced up some of the races in advance, allowing us to provide free greyhound racing betting tips for three of the races, including a 9/4 chance with Ladbrokes who should be able to produce a repeat performance from last week.

In the 9:06pm race all eyes will be glancing at the battle between the renowned Romford performer Blonde Razor and the new kid on the block, Farley Rio, given that the two head the market. Blonde Razor isn’t in the best of form, he’s usually a big threat when able to lead but not so much when coming from off the pace, and his Romford form isn’t anything to write home about with only one win in seven races. He’s too short in the market at 5/2 and isn’t a bet at that price.

Farley Rio has taken superbly to the Romford track, after reaching the Derby 2nd round, and has rattled off two smart wins at the track in consecutive weeks by showing good early pace and winning by fair distances, and in good times (35:40s and 35:32s). He has the same draw to work from, trap 5, as in recent weeks and is certain to go well from there. He’s a best priced 7/4 and that price looks fair.

The difference between this race and Farley Rio’s last two outings at Romford is the greyhound drawn directly inside him, in trap 4. In his last two races he has had no challenge for early supremacy but he will have his work cut out in this race with Sinbad drawn next door. If we ignore his last run where he missed the break, Sinbad has been trapping well at Romford and showing good early pace. We’ve not seen how Farley Rio will react when having to battle for the lead and Sinbad could realistically grab that lead from him.

Sinbad is also running the track very fast with his 35:27s time standing out from two runs back. That kind of form makes him dangerous and the belief is that he and Blonde Razor are in the wrong places in the market. With 4/1 available at bet365 for Sinbad to win the race that is a must bet if we agree with the analysis, even given that Farley Rio is a fair price.

Farloe Calamity is worth a small bet in the 9:56pm race at 5/1 with bet365 as she looks overpriced with Buoy Johnny in trap 6 potentially being overvalued by the bookmakers and looks too short. Buoy Johnny was picked up by the re-opposing Adageo Brae last week when getting a clear run and although he runs a fast split his race times should be a few lengths faster if he is seeing the distance out well based on those splits. He may lead this race, but he also has some pace on his inner to contain with too which may give him issues and at 7/4 we’d rather look elsewhere.

As mentioned, Adageo Brae picked him up last week but that was when he was able to settle in 2nd the entire race, something which may be unlikely in this race. Instead we’ve looked to trap 1 and Farloe Calamity who looks set for the lead on the inner and has a good recent performance here when she made all, beating Adageo Brae by over 3 lengths. She may lead this race too, with potential wide trouble, and in which case she’d be hard to pick up and we also have the bonus of her turning 2nd to Buoy Johnny and still having a chance.

The last of our free greyhound racing betting tips comes int he 10:11pm race where Dower Matt, in trap 2, is taken to confirm his victory over Borna Monty from last week. Granted Monty missed the break last week but it would be debatable whether he could have challenged the consistent trapping and early pace of Dower Matt anyway. A repeat performance is expected from Dower Matt where he makes all and he can be backed at a value price of 9/4 with Ladbrokes, with most firms undecided between the two favourites.
