The football league accumulator returns with a treble, available at odds over 15/1. The FA Cup action may take centre stage this weekend, but League’s One and Two have full programmes and there are opportunities aplenty in the match odds markets. We’ve picked three for consideration for your weekend acca.

Portsmouth v Carlisle

Football League Accumulator Feb 16thOpposing Portsmouth is not a hard decision. They avoided breaking a club record of consecutive defeats by getting a 0-0 draw at Hartlepool last time out, but nine losses from ten, and fifteen from the last nineteen, tells it’s own story. They remain a club in crisis. Carlisle over over evens because of their lowly league position, but they have won three of the last five, and five of the last nine. A victory at Tranmere in their last road game proved their ability to travel and they look a decent price with their opponents in such a mess.

Preston v Bournemouth

Preston have now lost five of the last eight, including three of the last four at home. Bournemouth meanwhile look destined for the Championship, having claimed top spot after extending their winning run to six straight games with victory away at Crewe last time out. Eddie Howe has team in great nick, and while their run has to end at some point, they look a decent bet again this weekend.

York v Barnet

The juicy price to put some real oomph into this week’s treble comes from League Two. Barnet travel to York looking to add more points to their tally in the battle for league survival, and they look well priced. York are without a win in seven and have lost two of the last four home games – and only mustered two goals in total in those games. The Bees are up and down, but have won four of the last nine including wins at Gillingham and Rotherham. You certainly cannot class them as bankers on the coupon, but they represent solid value.
