Ahead of the Autumn Internationals the second round of the ERCC pools takes place this weekend

The highlight of the betting opportunities are as follows

Pool 4 Friday 7.45pm Leicester v Scarlets

Leicester led Ulster at half time but lost 24-10 as Ulster’s better depth came into play in the second half. Scarlets meanwhile went toe to toe with last season’s finalists Racing92 only losing 14-13 to a late penalty try.
Scarlets should be favourites here against a Leicester side in a transitional phase with defensive problems all season, and Scarlets have a lot of attacking firepower. Scarlets at 11/8 with Skybet

Pool 2 Saturday 1pm Castres v Exeter Chiefs

Castres were beaten at Gloucester in the first round but that is not a great surprise, they aren’t good travellers and are far more effective at home in the south west of France where they are notoriously difficult to beat. Exeter and Munster drew in the first pool match of the group and top of the Premiership Exeter as well equipped as any English team to grind this out up front and at the minimum get a losing bonus point by losing by less than seven points and Exeter +3 at 10/11 with Skybet is interesting.

Pool 1 Saturday 3.15pm Wasps v Bath

Wasps ran in to a scintillating Leinster side in the first match of the competition and shipped over 50 points while Bath only had themselves to blame for not beating Toulouse at home first missing a penalty under the posts to take the lead in the last few minutes then not grounding a try correctly seconds later
This should be very close but Wasps are injury riddled to key players and Bath could be value to cause the upset at 5/2 with Skybet.

Pool 5 Sunday 3pm Newcastle v Montpellier

Newcastle pulled off the shock result of the first round of matches, winning at former champions Toulon 26-25, only the second side in the competition EVER to win there. A stunning result
Newcastle return home to again face French opposition Montpellier who held on to beat Edinburgh 21-15 having scored three first tries before being pegged back. Fourth in the French top 14 I like Montpellier to show their class and win here at 8/13 with Skybet
