Into the last week of the group stages

Sunday 27th January
Melbourne Stars v Brisbane Heat

The Stars rose into the top four of the league table with their sixth win in 11 games defending 167 comfortably against the Strikers last midweek and this is a key game in their battle to secure a play-off place against the Brisbane Heat who have only won three of nine games and sit seventh of eight in the league table

The Stars at 8/11 with Skybet is the bet

Monday 28th January
Perth Scorchers v Melbourne Renegades

The Scorchers are having a rare poor season with three wins from nine games and a misfiring batting line up. The Renegades are in third place in the table after beating the Sydney Thunder on Tuesday with six wins from 11 games. They should be backed at 10/11 to take another step towards the play-offs.

Tuesday 29th January
Hobart Hurricanes v Brisbane Heat

The Hurricanes suffered only their second defeat in this year’s competition when heavily beaten by the Sixers on Wednesday butt his is a chance to rebound in form against the Brisbane Heat who have only won three of nine games and sit seventh of eight in the league table

Unfortunately at as short as 4/7 Hobart are not a backableprice so no bet

Sydney Sixers v Adelaide Strikers

The Sixers are the most improved team in this year’s competition and after beating Hobart by nine wickets chasing 172 they sit second in the league table with six wins from 11 yet still needing awin or two to secure a post-season berth
On the other hand the Strikers, defending tournament champions are the big disappointment of the season with only 4wins from their 10 games, sixth in the table and time is running out. They have lost their last two games to Hobart and the Stars, both heavily

The Sixers at 8/11 with Skybet is a comfortable bet.
