Into the final stages of the Group and one knockout position remains outstanding

Thursday 7th February

Hobart Hurricanes v Melbourne Renegades

Both sides are through to the semi finals, Hobart with a 9-3 record and the Renegades 8-5. Hobart were beaten last time out by the Strikers, who chased 170 to win while the Renegades beat the Thunder in another low scoring game in Melbourne, comfortably defending 140 to secure their place in the knock out stages

This is likely to be a higher scoring game with some squad rotation so not easy to predict but we have to favour the home team at 10/11 with SkyBet

Friday 8th February

Brisbane Heat v Melbourne Stars

A must win game for both teams. The Heat are a point outside fourth for this their final group game and they have to win and hope other results go for them. They have successively beaten Perth and Adelaide to give themselves a chance chasing down 176 against Adelaide to in with 8 balls to spare was a fine batting performance

The Stars are currently in the last knockout qualification spot with two games left to play so the advantage is theirs even if they lose here, they will get another chance on Sunday against the Sixers and lost to Perth last time out

Brisbane at home at 10/11 for me

Saturday 9th February

Adelaide Strikers v Perth Scorchers

Adelaide have had a very mixed defence of their title with only 5 wins while Perth have been a real disappointment with 4 wins and bottom of the table. Their batting has been lacklustre until it was too late, posting 182 last time out. Adelaide have to be favoured here though at prices down to 8/11

Sydney Thunder v Hobart Hurricanes

The Thunder go into their last group game 5th of 8 with 5 wins from 12 games yet win here and they stand a chance of making the semi-finals next week despite losing the Sydney derby last time out. Hobart have been top of the league table throughout and have only lost three of 12 games on their way to the top seeding. They should win here at 8/11
