Match: Coventry v Tranmere
Betting tip: Tranmere Win
Best Odds: 3.47 at Pinnacle
Kick Off: 19:45 16/01/2013 (GMT)
Both these sides have seen their leading scorers depart this month, and it will be a few weeks before it can be judged how they have adjusted. In the meantime, the layers seem to have assumed the visitors will struggle most. Tranmere lead the Division and have won seven of thirteen on the road. The departure of leading scorer Jake Cassidy has coincided with some welcome good news where injuries are concerned, and Akpa Akpro is fit again, and with seven goals already this season, can make up for the loss of their top scorer, who had netted eleven. Ronnie Moore has also seen his team win five games on the bounce, so they travel with confidence. Coventry have seen a recent good run of form ended by back to back defeats, losing both 1-0. While the lack of goals cannot be entirely put down to the loss of sixteen goal David McGoldrick (They scored three away at MK Dons without him), it still remains a concern. They have lost five of thirteen at the Ricoh Arena and with recent defeats fresh in the memory, the price on an away win looks a little too large, despite the Sky Blues improvement under Mark Robins.
