The best teams in National Hockey League go head to head once again and this time Chicago is favorite to prevail. Anaheim is the only hockey club to defeat them twice this season but the Ducks are mired in a four games losing streak after winning nine consecutive games.

Match: Chicago vs Anaheim

Bet: Chicago

Odds: Unibet 1.95

The hosts are trying to consolidate their position at the top of the Western Conference, and with Anaheim being their closest rivals this can easily be tagged as a four points game. The Blackhawks are not in the position of wasting points at home, and they count on goalkeeper Ray Emery to lead them to their first victory over the Ducks in 2013. The goalie was stellar this season and is on the verge of securing his 13th consecutive victory, after deflecting all the shots send towards his net by Calgary in the previous game.

Anaheim lost twice to Detroit and San Jose and tries to avoid matching its six games losing streak suffered in late 2011, but in order to do so they will need to improve their power-play percentage. Regardless of what team had their man advantage on the ice, the Ducks were the ones finding themselves at the losing end. What makes it even more frustrating for Anaheim is that three of those four defeats came at Honda Center where the Ducks had the best record in NHL.

BetPal Tip:

When the best two teams in the West go head to head, the bookmakers are struggling to find the right odds and they sometimes get it wrong. Sadly for punters, this time Unibet was spot on and odds of 1.95 for a home victory are as fair as they get but still hold enough value to make the bet worthwhile.
