Celta Vigo barely avoided relegation earlier this year by winning at home in the final round, but they might not need to wait for the last match of the season to know their fate. They’ve earned four points in the first two games and have a good chance of winning another three at home against Granada.
Bet: Celta Vigo
Odds: Skybet 2.25
Celta Vigo was unlucky to squander a two goals lead in the opening game and eventually had to settle for a draw against Espanyol. They were more clinical in the next round and took advantage of Betis’ concern over the upcoming Europa League fixture to secure a rare away victory. A standard 4-4-2 starting formation featuring Charles and Nolito up front delivered positive results and it is most likely to see the same two strikers pairing in the offense tonight.
The hosts have three injury concerns, including 34 years old Mario Bermejo, but the striker wouldn’t have featured in the starting formation even if he was fit to play. Granada failed to replicate the success over Osasuna and lost by one go to Real Madrid but the hosts were dominated from the very beginning and were lucky not to concede more. El Arabi played in the first half only to be replaced by Riki and none of these strikers posed any serious threats to the visitors, despite sending many shots towards their net.
Granada is expected to resort to the same defensive starting formation with a single striker, which should provide Celta Vigo with the opportunity of bringing more players in their own half. Odds of 2.25 for a home victory offered by Skybet are terrific, although they are very likely to drop as the kickoff draws near.
