The Hobart Hurricanes lead the BBL table with five wins out of five

Monday 7th

Melbourne Renegades v Hobart Hurricanes

The Renegades have two wins from their five games, most recently losing to the Strikers falling over 30 runs short of chasing 158. The Hurricanes have won five out of 5. D’Arcy Short is the top run scorer in the competition so far following on from his star breakthrough performances last year and they most recently beat the Sixers chasing 161.
Even though Melbourne are at home on one of their sluggish pitches the Hurricanes have to be favoured at 10/11 with SkyBet

Tuesday 8th

Sydney Thunder v Brisbane Heat

The Thunder, with Butter and Root in their ranks, have three wins and three losses from their six matches while the Heat won their first match of the season chasing 135 comfortably to win in Perth. With Mujeeb to the fore (4-0-10-2) this was the first time the Heat’s bowling attack has come to the party this season to complement the vaunted batting line up. At home though the Thunder have to be favoured at 5/6 with Bet365.

Wednesday 9th

Melbourne Stars v Perth Scorchers

The Stars have the drawback of playing on one of the worst squares in the competition but have won 3 out of 5 mainly low scoring matches. Perth are having their worst BBL season, most recently losing to the Heat at home scoring only 135, another batting failure. The Scorchers have only won 1 of 6 games so far this season and the Stars have to be favoured at 8/11 with Skybet

Thursday 10th

Brisbane Heat v Melbourne Renegades

Both teams play again in quick succession after playing on Monday and Tuesday. Both travel to Queensland, frm Sydney and Melbourne respectively so its a quick turnaround with limited practice time. The Heat won their first match of the season chasing 135 comfortably to win in Perth. With Mujeeb to the fore (4-0-10-2) this was the first time the Heat’s bowling attack has come to the party this season to complement the vaunted batting line up. The Renegades have two wins from their five games, most recently losing to the Strikers falling over 30 runs short of chasing 158
