Into the second half of the pool stages and the Hobart Hurricanes still lead the way

Monday 14th January

Melbourne Stars v Hobart Hurricanes

The Stars have won three of their seven games in the competition so far this season, losing their last two to Perth and then the Strikers. They face a tough task against the Hurricanes who have won five of six games and sit top of the table. Of course that is mostly reflected in bookmaker prices. The Hurricanes are 4/7 favourites, The Stars 13/8 underdogs. The Hurricanes should win but are barely backable at the price

Wednesday 16th January

Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Renegades

The Sixers are currently in the top 4 having won 4 of their 7 games ahead of playing in Perth on Sunday. The Renegades are in 3rd in the league table, also with 4 wins out of seven most recently beating the Brisbane Heat comfortably. In what should be a close game the Sixers are best priced at just over even money with Skybet and are home underdogs which looks a favourable betting opportunity.

Thursday 17th January

Brisbane Heat v Sydney Thunder

Brisbane Heat have only won two of their six games, one of those a rain affected match, and struggle if their batting line up does not perform. The Thunder are second in the league table despite having just won 4 of 8 games but they are a more well rounded side than the Heat who are inconsistent at best.

The Thunder at 10/11 with Skybet looks the bet here.

Friday 18th January

Perth Scorchers v Hobart Hurricanes

The Scorchers form has picked up but they still sit bottom of the table with two wins from seven games, with a batting line up that has really under-performed. The Hurricanes travel here from playing in Melbourne three days previous but at 10/11 should provide another opportunity to profit
