Our Friday night betting tip comes from the Leicester v Watford clash in the Championship. Both clubs still harbour ambitions of playing Premier League football in 2013-14, but the match at the King Power Stadium will have a big bearing on any potential routes to promotion.

Watford still retain a slim outside chance of automatic promotion, but defeat here would gift Hull City the second automatic promotion spot. While overhauling the Tigers might be unlikely, it is still possible, and that coupled with the importance of momentum when heading into a play-off campaign, means Gianfranco Zola is not likely to rest players or take this game lightly. That is bad news for a Leicester team who have dropped out of the top six due to a poor run of results which has seen them win just one of the last eleven, and two of the last fifteen. There have been no clean sheets for the Foxes in the last eleven either, so entertaining the highest scorers in the League is not ideal. All those statistics point to the odds on a home win being too short at even money. For a side who win so rarely, the prices look wrong. Watford have won six of the eight games they have played away at sides in the top ten and are more than capable of taking something off the home side.
