On Saturday we have a Betting tip from League Two, where Bristol Rovers host York. Rovers have been transformed under John Ward and relegation is no longer a concern. The same cannot be said for the visitors and after results on Good Friday, they sit bottom. Is the home win a formality?
Match: Bristol Rovers v York
Betting tip: Bristol Rovers Win
Best Odds: 2.0 with William Hill
Kick Off: 15:00 30/03/2013 (GMT)
Since January the 1st, no team have collected more League Two points than Bristol Rovers. It is surprising therefore, to see them priced up around evens for a home clash versus the most out of form side in the division in York. Rovers have won their last four at home, and six of the last seven, including wins over promotion chasing Port Vale and Burton. They have also won five of the seven home fixtures they have played against sides below them in the table. At around the time Rovers started to click, York hit the buffers. Their last win came on New Years Day and in fifteen subsequent attempts they have not managed another victory. Their last ten games on the road have resulted in five draws and five defeats, but with the form their hosts are in, a home win should be shorter priced than even money.
