Betfair have extended their hugely popular ‘Cash Out’ feature, and made it available via their mobile betting offerings. Read on to find out more.
Betfair recently introduced a ‘Cash Out’ facility on their website, which enables customers to trade out of a bet ‘in-running’ – either to bank profits on a winner, or to reduce losses when a selection looks to be going awry (Read more about cashing out here). The feature has proved a massive hit among punters, with over one million bets placed via this method, and Betfair have been quick to make the facility available via their mobile platforms as well as online.
The option is effectively a short cut to trading out the long-winded way (Laying or betting any outstanding outcomes until all bases are covered). This speeding up of the process makes it ideally suited to those users who are on the move and who generally want to be in and out of the application as quickly as possible. It also ensures that all options are covered instantly, which can be vital in a volatile betting market.
Making the Cash Out facility available online is a huge benefit to Betfair customers, and opens up use of the facility beyond the full time traders. Head of Central Marketing, Ben Carter has said “Cash Out is absolutely central to our plans for mobile and yet another reason why Betfair is a must have for smartphone users.” Betfair were also recently named ‘Best Mobile Operator’ at the recent EGR Awards.
