Bet365 have long prided themselves on their in play markets and have heavily marketed that area of their offering. To back up that promotion of in play betting, they also offer an extremely extensive live streaming and live score portal within their website. It includes a number of useful features and is well worth a visit.
Bet365 in Play
Bet365 have attempted to reinforce their position as market leaders of in play betting, by providing a feature rich live ‘in play’ page, dedicated to ensuring punters can stay up to date on the action as it unfolds – across numerous countries and competitions. This is delivered via the Bet365 Live streaming and Live score services within the in play area.
There is a wealth of information available, and the first step for many visitors will be to narrow down the list of potential events. This is a simple task of adding particular sports, leagues or matches to the list of ‘favourites’. Once the page is tailored to the individual needs of the user, there are a plethora of helpful tools available.
Bet365 Live streaming
Many bookmakers offer live streaming, and Bet365 are no different. It is however, usefully integrated into the ‘in play’ area, so that action can be viewed, but events going on elsewhere are still visible. This is an advantage over other sites, where the streaming viewer often opens in a new window, taking the user away from odds or information already on display. Streaming is generally only available on the minor events (TV broadcasters are not willing to share exclusive premium content after all), but there is still a great deal on offer, including Italian football (and other European Leagues), tennis and Australian rugby.
For those who may not want live action, Bet365 also operate an in play graphic tool (pictured left), showing what is going on, and where – this is perhaps a less intrusive option for those needing to keep an eye on more than one market.
The real strength of the Bet365 in play area is however, the live scoring. Scores update from around the globe, and many matches or events will have the clock ticking on them – no need to hammer the F5 key refreshing the screen.
As ever with gambling, the devil is in the detail. Within a specific event, all the required information is available for the user. Using a football match as an example, every in play market is listed below a ‘dashboard’ of the match (pictured right). This dashboard shows all the main betting statistics – goals (obviously), corners, cards and penalties. The window can then be expanded to show either the detailed events within the match, or the teamsheets, again with any relevant events flagged next to the player concerned (goals or cards etc).
With single click access to other matches, live in play odds or detailed statistical information, the Bet365 portal is extremely useful for any punter wanting to stay on top of any in play positions. Bet365 are clearly very keen to remain ahead of the competition regarding in play betting and have done all they can to keep customers on their site – and betting.
