The Europa League final provides a betting tip on Wednesday night. Benfica v Chelsea looks a tasty final and provides a chance for both clubs to pick up a trophy after recent disappointments in other competitions. With the final in Amsterdam, can Rafa Benitez deliver European success before departing Stamford Bridge?

Chelsea have fought their way through a very testing fixture schedule, but have done so whilst maintaining a high level of performance, and some very strong results. Nine wins in thirteen games included two wins over Manchester United and some very good results in this competition, with teams that were often quite different to those that lined up in the Premier League. Whether Rafa Benitez earns any praise from his own supporters for dragging his team through this schedule remains to be seen, but in the form they are in, they are worthy favourites – though not necessarily value. Benfica have been very strong domestically, but the last gasp loss away at Porto in their last game has more or less condemned them to second in the League and they must now try and lift themselves for this final. Benfica have not registered too many clean sheets in this year’s Europa League, and Chelsea have scored plenty, so looking at goals for the Blues could provide profit. One potential avenue is to back Victor Moses to score any time. He scored home and away versus both Rubin Kazan and Basel and with injury ruling out Hazard, Moses may get another opportunity in a competition which has served him well this term.
