Be The Poker Maximus With Lock Poker

Starting on March 4th 2012, the Merge Gaming Network – home to US friendly online poker site Lock Poker, amongst others – will be hosting the “Poker Maximus” series; a 70 tournament series spread over three weeks, with a guaranteed $1.5 million in prize money and four separate “Main Event” tournaments with varying buy-ins to suit all bankrolls.

The smell of fear and perspiration is thick in the air. Around you, your fellow gladiators are using whatever means necessary to retain their composure. “Gladiator, how is it possible that you stay so calm?” asks a friend, whom you know is a potential foe once you are out in the arena. “That’s easy,” you say, a smile appearing on your face as you look toward the opening gate. “I live for this.” Enter: The Poker Maximus.

The Poker Maximus is the latest offering from the Merge Gaming Network, featuring a guaranteed $1.5 million in prize money across an epic 70 poker tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from as little as $1.10, right up to $530.

Win an event during the Poker Maximus series and you’ll qualify for a special event – the “Tournament of Champions”. Perform consistently well in the poker arena and you’ll be rewarded with leader board points, which could lead to you picking up a special Poker Maximus accolade. There’s more than $25,000 in bonus prizes up for grabs, for those poker gladiators who battle to finish in the top 100 on the leader board or play in the Tournament of Champions!

Obtaining the Best Finish in a Tournament
