I enjoyed a long, if unspectacular, career as an amateur and semi-professional footballer in England, followed by a brief and successful spell as a manager. Throughout those years immersed in football, I have also pursued my long term aim of being a consistent, profit making bettor. That aim pushed me to learn about every facet of successful betting, from finding value, to pricing up a market to the importance of keeping records and discipline. Throughout the pages of BetPal.com, I hope to pass on experiences I learnt the hard way, and if possible, point you in the direction of some good value bets.
