Those who’ve been following us on a regular basis know that we’ve backed Agnieszka Radwanska to win her quarter of the draw at very nice odds before the start of the tournament and that bet has already come in, but we believe that we can actually back her to get even further considering that we’re getting very nice odds for that. Without a shade of doubt, it’s Muguruza who’s been the surprise package of the women’s draw so far and you can take nothing away from her superb victories against the likes of Kerber and Bacsinszky, but things will be a bit different against Radwanska, who’s not only tremendously experienced at this level, but who also has a tricky playing style with which she can work around Muguruza’s biggest weapons.

It’s hard to imagine that this won’t be a fairly tight match, but it seems slightly odd to us that it’s Muguruza who’s getting the edge with the bookies, as we’d have Radwanska as the slight favorite if we are to be absolutely honest. Many were writing her off after her poor start to the season, but she’s turned things around brilliantly by performing well in Eastbourne before getting this excellent London run in, so it seems to us that she can be trusted yet again. And, well, despite Muguruza’s progress, Radwanska is still the better player of the two in our opinion. Throw the experience factor in and it’s clear who’s our recommended bet for Thursday in Wimbledon.
