We have three more free horse racing tips lined up for Monday October 8th, including an 18/1 (19.00) chance with William Hill at WOlverhampton, plus a strong fancy in the 4.10 at Pontefract, trained by Tom Dascombe (pictured).
4.10 Pontefract – Marford Missile @ 7/4 (2.75) with Paddy Power
5.00 Wolverhampton – King’s Road @ 9/1 (10.00) with Boylesports
Longshot of the day:
4.00 Wolverhampton – Where’s Reiley @ 18/1 (19.00) with William Hill
Marford Missile is the first of our free horse racing tips for Monday October 8th, and Tom Dascombe’s three year old runs in the 4.10 at Pontefract. He steps up in trip slightly today but looking at his pedigree, I can’t see this being an issue, while the two 1s by his name show that he’s clearly in good form at present. He’ll be fine with the softer ground and even at a current price of 7/4 (2.75) with Paddy Power, I’m happy to play as I can’t see him losing.
Regular followers of our free horse racing tips may recognize our second selection today, as he was our Each-Way longshot tip a week or so ago. King’s Road goes in the 5.00 at Wolverhampton today, off the same mark as when we tipped him up (he finished third that day) and over the same track and trip. I said that he would go close that day if running as he did when second over course and distance recently, and I feel that he ran slightly below par that day. At risk of repeating myself, if the seven year old does reproduce that run, he’ll win today at at generous odds of 9/1 (10.00) with Boylesports; he’s definitely the value pick in the race.
I did quite like the favourite (Amoure Medici) in the 4.00 at Wolverhampton but could see no value in the prices. As it happens, the horse has been withdrawn while I’m studying the race, which makes my decision somewhat easier as there is one horse in the line up that looks really overpriced – Where’s Reiley, at current odds of 18/1 (19.00) with William Hill. If the six year old runs anything like he did three races back at Southwell when winning a claimer off the same mark, he’ll be on the premises. That 18/1 could look massive come 4.05.
