3.45 Lingfield – Fleeting Image @ 7/2 (4.50) with Paddy Power
8.05 Kempton – Officer In Command @ 5/1 (6.00) with Bet365
Longshot of the day:
7.05 Kempton – This Is Nice @ 12/1 (13.00) with Bet365
The first of our free horse racing tips for Wednesday October 31st goes in the 3.45 at Lingfield. Fleeting Image has defied a huge price to run a place in all of her last three outings, including a win at Newmarket in August and a second place finish (in slightly better company) over course and distance last time out. She’s up another 4lbs for that effort but that doesn’t concern me and her jockey takes off a handy 5lbs. The current best price of 7/2 (4.50) with Paddy Power looks good enough for me.
Officer In Command looks a good price at 5/1 (6.00) with Bet365 to win the 8.05 at Kempton. The six year old is 3lbs lower than when last winning at Lingfield in July and recently ran third at this track and trip. He’s a consistent sort and won’t need to do much more than match either of those two runs in order to score today.
Our bigger priced Each-Way shout for Wednesday October 31st is Tom Dascombe’s This Is Nice, a 12/1 (13.00) shot with Bet365 for Kempton’s 7.05 race. That price looks big, probably because the filly is yet to win from eight attempts and is upped in class today, but I’ve seen enough to believe she can land what is hardly a strong looking race. Her two runner up finishes in August were decent enough and if Hayley Turner can get her to run a race similar to either of those, she should certainly finish on the premises.
