We’ve picked out a three team football accumulator bet this weekend that returns a massive £378.00 with Pinnacle, from just a £20 stake – those are odds of 18.90 (a little under 18/1)! You might want to include these tips in a larger football accumulator of your own or simply bet our recommended treble, but in any case, don’t miss out on the value!
1 – Middlesbrough vs Bolton
The first of this weekend’s football accumulator tips is Tony Mowbray’s Middlesbrough, who now find themselves just three points away from the top of the Championship having put together a run of three straight victories, beating the likes of Hull and Brighton, who will all fancy their chances of making a promotion push this season. The current best price of 2.70 (bwin) seems generous given their recent form (one defeat in six) and I can only imagine that the prices have been affected by the appointment of Dougie Freedman as Bolton’s new boss.
Bolton have been awful this season. They have won just four matches, two of which were against sides currently in the bottom three, and they have kept just one clean sheet (back in August). Personally, I feel that the whole “new manager syndrome” is a myth and I would rather work with cold, hard facts than pointless superstition. With that in mind, Middlesbrough look like tremendous value and simply must go into our football accumulator bets this weekend.
2 – Bury vs Walsall
I seem to be documenting my love for Walsall in this column every week, but once again they impressed me in midweek. Sure, they lost 1-0 away to high flying Sheffield United, but that didn’t tell the whole story. They had Dean Holden sent off after just 14 minutes and the unbeaten Blades tucked away the resulting penalty, but Walsall are a well drilled team who work hard for each other and they not only kept United at bay on their own patch for the remaining 76 minutes, but they almost snatched a point but for a world class save near the end. The Saddlers will finish the season much higher than their current league position of 15th.
Bury on the other hand, are complete garbage. In midweek they finally registered a League One victory at the 14th time of asking, at home to the mighty Hartlepool (bottom of the league) who are about the only team in the division that are worse than the Shakers. With Kevin Blackwell recently appointed as their manager, don’t expect the football to be pretty, unlike Walsall who can play. The current best price of 3.25 (Pinnacle) is insulting to Walsall and they are great value addition to your weekend football accumulator bet.
3 – Cheltenham vs Exeter
Dropping into League Two, it’s fourth placed Cheltenham that round off this weekend’s recommended football accumulator bet. A run of just one defeat in eight matches has propelled the Robins into the play-off places and hot on to the heels of the sides currently in the automatic promotion spots.
Their opponents this weekend are Exeter, whose form is the polar opposite of Cheltenham’s, with just one victory in the last seven attempts (and that came against bottom side Barnet). Considering the form of the two sides, I’m surprised to see Cheltenham any bigger than even money and the 2.17 currently being offered by Pinnacle simply must be snapped up. Make sure they go into your accumulator bets this weekend.
The best online bookmaker for placing this weekend’s football accumulator bet is Pinnacle, as their odds of 18.90 far outweigh anyone else’s. The nearest rival is BetVictor who can only offer a measly 17.22, while Stan James trail in as third best with just 16.57.
