Fancy winning £311.20 for just a £20 stake? Then you should definitely check out this weekend’s lower league football accumulator bet! Pinnacle are currently offering odds of 15.56 (that’s 14.56/1) about our three team accumulator and those odds are simply not to be missed.
1 – Crystal Palace vs Millwall
Millwall actually have a strong record in recent years against their arch-rivals Palace, but with the form the home side are in at present, I can’t see them being beaten. Six wins from their last seven matches, including a 3-2 victory over the top side Cardiff, suggests to me that the current best price of 2.20 (Boylesports) is a generous one.
Millwall’s own form is pretty poor. A last minute Darius Henderson winner against a struggling Bolton side ended a run of five matches without a victory and in that time, they have failed to beat the likes of Burnley and Bristol City on the road. I know all the old cliches about ripping up the formbook for derby matches, but for me, Crystal Palace are simply a must for everyone’s accumulator bets this weekend.
2 – Bournemouth vs Tranmere Rovers
Tranmere are just unbeatable at the moment. Everyone in League One is waiting for the bubble to burst, but it doesn’t look like happening and you have to hand it to Ronnie Moore, his side look like genuine promotion contenders at present. They went 2-0 down to Yeovil last week and everyone thought “this is it”, before Rovers promptly scored three times to collect maximum points.
Regular followers of this column will know all about my dislike of the pre-season hype that surrounded Bournemouth and they’ll also know that I am not in the least bit surprised to see them sat 21st in the table. They’re just not that good and their form tells the whole story – prior to last weekend’s home victory over a dreadful Leyton Orient side, they had lost four games on the spin and hadn’t won in six. Free scoring Tranmere should fill their boots against one of the poorest defences in the division and the current best price of 3.20 (Pinnacle) means Rovers simply have to go into your weekend football accumulator bets.
3 – Yeovil vs Bury
I don’t happen to think that Yeovil are a particularly good side, but what I do know is that Bury are woeful. Kevin Blackwell has a serious job on his hands to keep them up as they haven’t managed a single win in 12 attempts so far this League One campaign, and have registered just five points. They are conceding two goals a game on average – the poorest defensive record in the league.
Yeovil currently sit 15th in the League One table, but they have notched 19 times in their 12 matches so far, including two last weekend against in-form Tranmere and on three separate occasions this term, they’ve scored three or more. Clearly, they are capable of playing well when the conditions are right and at home against a side as bad as Bury, they can wreak havoc. I expect Yeovil to use this match as a springboard to get their own league campaign back on track and at a current best price of 2.25 (BetVictor) it’s hard to leave them out of this weekend’s football accumulator tips.
Pinnacle is easily the best bookmaker to use for our lower league football accumulator this weekend, as their current odds of 15.56 (14.56/1) are far superior to anyone else. Only BetVictor come close, with odds of 15.14.
