Today’s free greyhound racing tips come from Coventry and the races can be viewed on Racing Post Greyhound TV, which is always the case from Wednesday to Sunday. The highlight of the evening’s racing looks to come in the final of the Constable Cup where £1000 is awarded to the winner. We have a 3/1 betting tip with Ladbrokes for that race for a dog we feel can have the run of the race as well as a number of other tips for the card.

The Constable Cup Final runs at 8:45pm and impressive semi-final winner Daddy Knowsbest is taken to repeat that form and have his owners lifting the trophy. Daddy Knowsbest is coming from trap one, just as he did in the previous round, and he looks very well drawn to cross the line first.

The selection has been showing very nice early pace at Kinsley and that translated well to Coventry, we can only imagine a repeat of the sectional from last week will see him clear of his competitors at the first bend.

Jazz Apollo is a strong dog in trap two but not the fastest trapper and that will be his undoing as the fast trapping Hipower Rhino will be heading for the rails from the traps.

Glenpadden Post scored in strong fashion in his semi-final but is a railer and drawn in 4 whilst Bowtime Regan in 5 also won last week but made all in a time over two lengths slower than the selection. The rank outsider is in trap 6 and doesn’t look fast enough to win this race.

Most of the positives are with the selection and, whilst 485m might be the furthest it can go, it doesn’t look like anything will be able to pick him up with the way the race should play out. Ladbrokes are offering 3/1 on Daddy Knowsbest whilst he is as short as 2/1 elsewhere.

Twisted Soul, in trap 5, looks like it has a solid chance in the 9:15pm race over 672m and is available at 5/1 with Paddy Power. She is selected based on a couple of nice looking open race times at the beginning of April and might actually pinch an early lead.

A little earlier in the evening, in the 7:45pm race, Waltzing Canary and Proud Barney head the market and based on their Monmore runs, Waltzing Canary should be that little bit faster than his rival and should be backed for small stakes at the 6/4 available at Paddy Power.

Elsewhere, keep an eye out for Farloe Warhawk in the 9:00pm race, he is one of BetPal’s Greyhound Derby selections and we’re looking for a flashy time tonight.
